The Full Moon in Pisces Joins Uranus Delivering Hurricane Ike, Gas and Oil Problems

How have you weathered these last few days?  I know I could feel the hurricane hit the Texas coast all the way up in my home in East Lansing, Michigan, and I felt for all the people going through it.  Of course, driving around town and watching lines of panicked drivers at the gas stations made me wonder if this is a panic that could go farther somehow, and deeper into society.   I came inside and looked at the exact time of the Full Moon.  The close proximity of the planet Uranus in Pisces, (ruler of water, gas, and oil, among other things), had a great influence on the events of the last few days.  The moon will join Uranus around 1:09a.m. EDT and it will be full after 5 a.m. EDT, so it will go over Uranus as it is going to fullness, making the impact considerable.  This has a great influence on the high emotions everyone has had in the past few days, since Pisces is also the planet that often indicates anxiety and can be quite fearful, but can also be very magnetic and charismatic.

Since this week there has also been a parallel (like a conjunction) of Venus, Mars, and Uranus, emotions from love connections have been running high anyway.  And we know that our subconscious association of emotions with water (writers and psychologists like symbolist Carl Jung have brought this to our consciousness) so we know there have been many love trials and romantic notions that may have been grounded in reality or just disappeared in a glamour like the mist.  All this comes with the Pisces influence.  The tsunami-like nature of Hurricane Ike with its span of 600 miles, has brought forth a catharsis for many people tracking it, as well as people who are dealing with the aftermath of its wake.

In our own lives, it is important to use this understanding of the energy to help us keep our perspective and remember that there will be an end in sight.  We may also help others understand so they don’t lose themselves in their emotional ups and downs.
