Love May Come Together With Pisces Moon, Venus, Mars

A relationship that started about six weeks ago may finally become what you’ve wanted.

Your mission, should you chose to accept it, is to put together the romantic relationship of your dreams in the next two days.  You’ve got one shot so take your best.  Now that Venus is back in a forward motion, you may get a second chance to make something work.  The romantic mood is at its strongest with these three planets in Pisces so do your best to put the relationship you want together and try to remember no one is perfect.

You’ll have another chance when Venus and Mars move into Aries, but there is no comparison between a Pisces romantic mood and an Aries romantic mood.  Now Venus and the Moon are the most compassionate and romantic in Pisces.  Soon Mars will be strongest, and the Aries romantic mood will be more like “let’s go as fast as we can as see how much of an adventure we can make it.”

Now you’ve got the velvet touch of romance, sensual and deep.  So don’t let the grass grow under your feet and get going with a plan to put the relationship you want together in the next day or two, if you can.

Moon Opposes Saturn – Just When You Thought it was Safe to Come Out Again

When the Moon opposes Saturn this morning and parallels Uranus, you could see someone’s temper take off like a heat-seeking missile and it may even be yours. Remember the old Irish joke, “Is this a personal fight or can anybody jump in?”  That may be what the whole day is like.

Keep your bright ideas and your thoughts (should you decide to let someone know “what I really think”) to yourself just now and don’t take it personally.  All the cliches may apply so just stay out of conversations of any kind that could involve you in a confrontation.  Also when it comes to your relationship you may just want to go into your bedroom and pull the covers up over your head until this weekend, and that may not be long enough.  But if someone wants to argue have the presence of mind to suggest a time next week when it would be better.

Issues that have been coming to a head over the last few months or weeks will pop like a helium balloon stuck by a hat pin.

The time for major psyche explosions will continue at least until the Moon joins Uranus shortly after midnight tonight.  After that things may settle down but caution for a day or two is still advised.

There may also be an aftershock or some significant earthquake activity, in the world as well as in relationships.

The good news is that you get to watch the planets do their shaker – boomer thing.  Its sort of like thunder and lightning only in your life instead of the sky.  The good news, (and that may be optimistic), is that  if you’re lucky, it may actually help you reactivate a project that was stuck and get it going again.   But you will have cleared the deadwood out of your life – and then some.

4 Earthquakes have Occured at 6 or Greater Magnitude since December 18

In my previous blog, I expressed a concern about major earthquakes due to the planetary activity and the position of the Moon.  While there have been four earthquakes of a magnitude of 6.0 or greater, according to the  U.S. Geological Survey, fortunately none of them have been in a populated area.  The two on December 18 were located off the coast of Valparaiso, Chile at magnitude 6.2 and 6.0.  The other two were off the coast of Honshu, Japan, on December 20 at a magnitude 6.5 and on December 21 at a magnitude 6.0.   While the planetary activity that indicates a possible major earthquake (which all of those were) continues, we may see much more of this activity over the next few weeks.  Particularly when Mars joins Pluto in the earth sign Capricorn.  The continuing opposition of Saturn and Uranus creates an ongoing potential for major earthquake activity that can be triggered by other activity of the smaller, faster moving planets.  Hopefully it will continue to remain off shore and away from major populated areas.

Astrological Earthquake – Mars’ Transit Opposing the Full Moon as a Possible Trigger

Earthquake Planetary Line Up

When Mars moves to oppose the Gemini full Moon over the next three days, it may trigger an earthquake.  This is only one of the factors setting up for a potential quake.  The Saturn Uranus contraparallel, the position of the moon at the time of its fullness, and a few other things that would only interest a hard core astrologer, may all play a role.  But the transit of Mars over the sensitive point, may set off a major earthquake.  In the past similar planetary line ups have resulted in a quake.  Because the Gemini full Moon was the closest to the earth that it has been in 15 years, it may mean a stronger quake.  There have already been three quakes today at greater than 5. on the Richter scale according to the U.S. Geological Survey, but none of them did much damage.  Hopefully it will stop with that, but several others besides myself recognize the possibility of a major quake.  As an astrologer it is all part of years of planetary research.

Earthquakes in the Land Mean Earthquakes in Our Lives

This same planetary line up may also mean we are about to experience a major shift in our lives and our world.  Our individual worlds are changing as many are losing jobs and homes, and families are having to restrict their spending.  Relationships that may lead to marriage may be put on hold, as well as starting a family, due to the financial uncertainties.  The world may be giving birth to a different kind of value system. Our economy is in serious fluctuation and we could soon see another new direction.  Uranus in Pisces is leading us to a new direction and away from the old rules and structures and potentially into a more fluid, creative and inspired time,  but there is a caution not to be taken in with illusions like the financial fraud seen on Wall Street, and other sorts of cons and delusions that may present themselves.

Venus Moves Over Last Summer’s Solar Eclipse – Relationship Wipe Out or A Chance to Heal?

Venus Reactivates Last Summer’s Solar Eclipse So Watch Out for Relationship Changes

With Venus at 6 degrees of Aquarius, it is moving to the opposition of the solar eclipse point from last summer.  Many may find that major shifts take place in their significant relationships, and whatever houses are ruled from Venus in their chart.  This will happen over the next couple of days, since last August’s Solar Eclipse was at 9 degrees of Leo.   That eclipse was actually triggered May 26, when Mars transited the eclipse point a couple of months before the actual eclipse happened. If you want to see what its going to do in your life now, look back to that time and recall what happened.  This is always the case in astrology.  We can watch a situation develop over a period of time by watching the planetary movements that influence it.

Venus Begins the Action of the January 26, 2009 Solar Eclipse

Venus may actually trigger the action of the coming solar eclipse on January 26, 2009, which will be at 6 degrees of Aquarius, right where Venus is today.  So if you are aware of where this falls in your chart, observe the reaction you have and notice what relationships seem to be up for review.  This will give you an idea of where its going to impact your life and you should notice the impact starting today.  It may, since Venus is a benific, bring you closer to someone.  Depending on what planet it aspects in your chart, it could also bring a difficult relationship experience, or a decision to rethink or reassess a major relationship.  For instance, if it aspects Saturn in your chart, it may challenge a relationship.  Since transiting Jupiter is also parallel transiting Venus, it may bring a major healing or some exceptional good fortune that may go to the next level of development on the date of the actual eclipse.

The Gemini Full Moon Delivers the Coup de Grace to the Uranus Saturn Opposition

The Gemini Full Moon

This is the Full Moon in December and it was known to the Native Americans as the Full Long Night’s Moon and to the Celts as the Elder Moon.  Today’s Long Night’s  Moon, so close to the winter solstice, may deliver the coup de grâce in the major shift that is playing out in the world. It will deliver another fatal blow to the Uranus/Saturn opposition that was exact on November 4 and has laid the groundwork to reshape the world as we’ve known it.

Mercury Joins Pluto in Capricorn

Mercury joins Pluto as it moves into 0 degrees of Capricorn, adds extra punch and makes a potent planetary line up, and Pluto is about pure power.  This degree is much more potent since it is the very beginning of the sign, so the transformation can be quite explosive.  It settles down as the planet goes further into the sign.

Earthquakes are Possible along with Major World Events, and Events in Lives

This line up creates a great potential for earthquakes in the world, in current events, in our own lives and the lives of those around us. With the Full Moon making a difficult aspect to Saturn and Uranus as they oppose each other, (and while they are no longer in an exact opposition, they are still contraparallel, which is simular to an opposition) and Mercury joining Pluto at 0 degree, and the Moon’s position, the likelihood of a major earthquake somewhere in the world is very strong.

We will see it reflected in world events and in our lives, as well.  Whatever aspect of the past is moving out of our lives, it will get another crowning blow and ties may be broken as we leave old situations behind and strike out for a fresher, newer world. The Uranian aspect of this represents revolution pitted against the structure of Saturn in Virgo.

Barack Obama’s Presidency Represents the Saturn Uranus Opposition in the Presidential Election

Barack Obama was the first man of mixed race elected to the presidency on the day that Saturn and Uranus were in exact opposition. This really is the start of a new world, and the economic difficulties are not merely a recession or depression from which the country will recover, it is the beginning of a new society with new values and a new approach to finances. Before this is over, and it will take years to play out, we may find our currency has an entirely different basis.

A Quantum Leap into the Future

Whether we leave behind relationships that have lost their meaning for us, jobs that are empty traps, or outworn approaches that no longer bring us any fulfillment, this aspect will take us, individually and collectively, to the next level in an unfolding karma.

The Full Moon in Pisces Joins Uranus Delivering Hurricane Ike, Gas and Oil Problems

How have you weathered these last few days?  I know I could feel the hurricane hit the Texas coast all the way up in my home in East Lansing, Michigan, and I felt for all the people going through it.  Of course, driving around town and watching lines of panicked drivers at the gas stations made me wonder if this is a panic that could go farther somehow, and deeper into society.   I came inside and looked at the exact time of the Full Moon.  The close proximity of the planet Uranus in Pisces, (ruler of water, gas, and oil, among other things), had a great influence on the events of the last few days.  The moon will join Uranus around 1:09a.m. EDT and it will be full after 5 a.m. EDT, so it will go over Uranus as it is going to fullness, making the impact considerable.  This has a great influence on the high emotions everyone has had in the past few days, since Pisces is also the planet that often indicates anxiety and can be quite fearful, but can also be very magnetic and charismatic.

Since this week there has also been a parallel (like a conjunction) of Venus, Mars, and Uranus, emotions from love connections have been running high anyway.  And we know that our subconscious association of emotions with water (writers and psychologists like symbolist Carl Jung have brought this to our consciousness) so we know there have been many love trials and romantic notions that may have been grounded in reality or just disappeared in a glamour like the mist.  All this comes with the Pisces influence.  The tsunami-like nature of Hurricane Ike with its span of 600 miles, has brought forth a catharsis for many people tracking it, as well as people who are dealing with the aftermath of its wake.

In our own lives, it is important to use this understanding of the energy to help us keep our perspective and remember that there will be an end in sight.  We may also help others understand so they don’t lose themselves in their emotional ups and downs.

Venus Mars and Uranus – Strange Happenings in the Crazy Love Theme Park

Venus, Mars, and Uranus all Together – You are Now Entering the Crazy Love Theme Park

If you are in love this week, you could find yourself in unusual circumstances, doing something unusual with someone even more unusual.  You may feel like a visitor to the crazy love theme park where all the relationships are like the whirling Mad Teacup ride at Disney World.  Or you could be on the Stratosphere Insanity ride in Las Vegas, but I’m sure you know what I mean.  If you’ve noticed yourself being strangely drawn to a strange relationship or a stranger person (even if they are just a strange choice for you), strange relationship events or someone strange who suddenly wants to get to know you better, it is good to be aware that unexpected events may pop up like Susan Palin in the democratic party’s campaign strategy.

The Good News

At its best, you may be able to renew your feelings for someone with a new approach, just be warned that this is a highly quirky aspect.  Someone may suddenly seem like the love you have dreamed of, only to jump out of your life in a few weeks as fast as they appeared on the scene.  So caution is advised.

Inspiration for Artists

Actually, it may work out for you if you are a person who values individuality more than anything else.  It might also work if you are an artist or an artistic type.  In fact, for artists, this may be the best aspect for doing art work, whether you draw, paint, sculpt, or write music or plays, or just any sort of art.  Let the unusual energies of highest individuality inspire you to new and greater heights.

A Trip through the Crazy Love Theme Park

If you find yourself itching to try a threesome with your partner, even though you know you’ll be taking your life in your hands when you suggest it to them, or if you find it intriguing to start a relationship like the one between Brad Pitt and Angeline Jolie in the movie Mr. & Mrs. Smith, it is probably the result of this planetary line up. If you find that you suddenly develop a wild, almost compulsive craving to connect sexually with someone and don’t even care if they think you’re a stalker, this is probably due to the current Uranus aspect to Mars and Venus. Since the involvement with Uranus is not obvious, it may not be immediately apparent, even to some astrologers.

What Goes Up Often Comes Down

Just remember, what goes up must come down, and this one could come down with a stupendous crash.  It may not crash because of your new love interest, but because of their significant other that you were never told about (and who was never told about you) and who has all the personality and charm of Linda Blair in the Exorcist.  This is what I mean by unexpected.  You could find yourself wildly attracted to the most unlikely person, someone you would normally never even consider.  This should be your first clue that you are now entering the “crazy love” theme park.  It may influence other parts of your life, and it will depend on where in your chart these signs and planets are located, but if you recognize yourself, you are definitely feeling the influence of these planets.

Liberating the Hidden Side of Your Love Nature

The good news is that it may liberate a part of you that has been yearning for expression.  Maybe you’ve wanted to open up to an exciting new direction in your life, or develop and play out more fantasies in your relationships (naughty school girl and foreign businessman or hot business women with construction worker), this may inspire you to share it with your honey.  Or maybe you need to discuss some changes with your partner – like developing a better social circle – or getting to know some new people.  This may give you a push in that direction, just remember you have to live with yourself later and a reputation for being as unpredictable as Chucky (in the horror movie Bride of Chucky) may not take you to the new social circles you have in mind.

A Constructive Option is There is You Need It

For some at least, it won’t last long, maybe through next week, but it is most intense this week.  The way to work with the actual astrology is to contact an astrologer for a constructive approach.  There are always constructive ways to work with any aspect, no matter how difficult.  Astrology is all about finding the best way to grow through the different challenges in your life.  That’s how you develop depth and wisdom which will enrich your life and enrich the lives of those to whom you are close and it may also just make you a more developed and fascinating person along the way.

The Full Moon on Pluto Equals Explosive Emotions!

Today the Full Moon will join the explosive planet Pluto. It may set off strong emotional reactions. Try to keep your wits about you if things get overwhelming and keep it in perspective. Others may have strong emotional demands and reactions toward you, as well. In may bring major cycles to an end, but all charts are different so find out where it is in your chart to see where it will impact your life the most.

The Jupiter Pluto Conjunction, a once in 250 year event Dec 11, 2007

Jupiter Joins Pluto in the Sign of Sagittarius

Sagittarius Constellation

Sagittarius is the Centaur, half man and half horse who is also the archer, with a drawn bow ready to shoot the arrow to it’s target.

Jupiter Pluto Conjunction

This conjunction only happens in the sign of Sagittarius every 250 years so when it does, be advised it will leave quite a trail in the lives of everyone and the world in general. Since Jupiter is such a large planet, when it joins together with Pluto, the world literally shakes. Since Sag rules higher education, publishing, organized religion, spiritual evolution, philosophy, foreign and multi cultural matters, and travel to distant and exotic places, automobiles and modes of transportation.  These are the influences we can expect in our lives and in the world. Pluto rules the underworld, nuclear power, organized crime, the deep subconscious and very old age. It also rules explosions, so try to hold down your own potential explosions to a minimum and you will most likely will deal with some potentially explosive events.

Issues of religion and publishing may expand and come up to the public awareness.  Since Pluto indicates transformation, we can expect something major to shift in the world, perhaps perceptions about foreign cultures and religions.  Certainly the war and various skirmishes in the Middle East may shift or become more active.

The best possible outcome is an evolution of consciousness throughout the world.  It is a good time to use this energy to meditate and rethink the purpose of our lives and our values.

The Pacific rim, and the coast of Chili may also see earthquakes that start out in the Pacific Ocean. This is one of the bigger planetary aspects you can buy. It is rife with potential disaster or an overly optimistic attitude and conviction that if you shoot the moon in any sort of gamble, you will hit the Mother lode. It is always best, especially with Mars retrograding, to wait for a couple weeks to do anything and try to hold your temper. Just stabilize and do the best you can to relax and stay out of everyone’s way while they explode from the pressure. Also look for major earthquakes along the west coast from South America all the way to Alaska. Volcanos may also start erupting so mother nature may give us quite a show.
